The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the notification for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2025. Recruitment has been announced for a total of 9900 posts. The application process for these posts will start on April 10 and will run till May 9. The advertisement for this recruitment has been published by RRB in the employment newspaper. A detailed notification will be issued soon.

Applications for these posts have to be made by visiting the official website of RRB and the regional website. Candidates should keep in mind that applications cannot be made by post or other means. Last year, RRB announced 5,696 posts for Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment, which was later increased to 18,799.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2025 Qualification

It is mandatory for the candidate applying for be 10th pass. Also, there should be an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. At the same time, candidates who have passed matriculation and earned a three-year engineering diploma can also apply. The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 30 years. Reserved category applicants will also be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the government rules.

Under Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment, applicants will be selected in four stages. First, there will be CBT 1 exam and the successful candidates will appear in CBT 2 exam. Its document verification and medical examination will be conducted. Only those candidates who are successful in all the stages will be selected finally. The recruitment examination will be conducted at various centers across the country under the guidelines issued by RRB. Admit card will be issued to all the successful registered applicants appearing in the examination.
