After the relentless rain in August, heavy rain and storms are expected in September. The average minimum temperature for the month is likely to be normal to above normal in most parts of the country. However, some parts of Northwest India and South Peninsular India are likely to experience below-normal minimum temperatures, according to the IMD forecast.
