Hariyali Teej Puja Method
Get up early in the morning, take a bath, and wear clean clothes.
Clean the puja room, if possible, apply cow dung, and purify it by sprinkling Gangajal.
Light a ghee lamp and take a vow to observe the fast. Take a vow to observe a Nirjala fast (or fruit fast).
Married women should do 16 makeups and especially wear green colored saree, bangles, bindi etc.
Decorate the mother's chowki for worship and place the idol of Shiva-Parvati made of clay or sand on it.
If the idol of clay is not possible, then you can also worship with the photo or idol of Shiva-Parvati.
Start the worship by invoking Shiva-Parvati.
Anoint Shiva with Gangajal and Panchamrit.
