Pnavel: The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) celebrated the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in all its schools on Wednesday with flag hoisting ceremonies and cultural activities, ahead of Independence Day.
Simultaneous Flag Hoisting in All Schools
At 8 a.m., the national flag was hoisted simultaneously in every PMC-run school under the guidance of Education Officer Ramesh Chavan, as part of the civic body’s initiative led by Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Mangesh Chitale.
Students Participate in Patriotic Art Competitions
Students from Classes 1 to 8 participated in Independence Day-themed rangoli and drawing competitions, using flowers and colored powders to create patriotic designs. Each class in every school selected first, second, and third prize winners in both categories.
