The latest episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 (Thursday, July 31) was filled with drama, emotions and it hinted at the changing dynamics of Virani family. In the previous episode, Tulsi's daughter Paridhi, aka Pari, tells her that she is dating a boy who is not from their 'class'. This leaves Tulsi shocked.

Amid their 38th wedding anniversary celebration, Mihir tells Tulsi that he wants Pari to meet his friend's son for the marriage. That's when she reveals about her relationship.

July 31 update

Thursday's episode begins with Tulsi assuring Pari that she will talk to Mihir about her relationship. Soon after, Mihir's aunt Gayatri senses something fishy between Tulsi and Pari. When she confronts Tulsi, she said everything is alright. Gayatri's son Hemant interrupts them and praises Tulsi and the upbringing of her kids.

When Mihir introduces Tulsi to his friends and tells her to ask Pari to come downstairs and meet them for 'rishta', Tulsi makes excuses.

The Virani family then celebrates Tulsi and Mihir's anniversary and the couple exchanges varmala. Mihir also sings a romantic song for his wife and gives her a red rose, earning applause from the family members and friends.

The family members, including Karan, Nandini, Angad, Pari, Ritik, Hemant, Daksha, Shobha, and others, surprising Tulsi and Mihir with a dance performance. After the party, Tulsi bids goodbye to Karan, Shobha and Nandini who are set to jet off to their home and gives them a gift.

Tulsi then asks Mihir not to think about Pari's marriage. She tells him that Pari is in love with someone and this leaves Mihir shocked. When Mihir asks her details about the boy, Tulsi says she has no idea about Pari's personal life. Mihir loses his cool and doubts the intention of Pari's boyfriend.

Mihir rushes to Pari's room to scold him but as soon as he reaches there, he imagines her as a kid, leaving him emotional. He then tells his daughter that he wishes to meet the boy. Pari says her boyfriend is too kind and that she loves him a lot.

Mihir then regrets scolding Tulsi and apologises to her. Tulsi forgives him instantly but thinks about people passing nasty comments about her aged look at the party. She tells Mihir, "10 saal badi lagti hu tumse, handsome papa aur mummy gol gappa." She breaks down but Mihir consoles her and tells her that he loves her a lot.

Next morning, nearly 20 police officers and constables reach Virani house to arrest Angad.

Upcoming episode

The promo of Friday's (August 1) episode shows Tulsi slapping Angad after he was arrested by police. Hemant, who is a lawyer, then comes to their rescue as he assures them he will help grant Angad bail.
