Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a hands-on training initiative, 205 male and female trainee police constables from the Police Training College (PTC), Musakhedi, were deployed across 23 of Indore’s busiest intersections to learn real-time traffic management.
The practical training programme, conducted in collaboration with the city’s Traffic Police, aimed to instill road safety awareness, discipline and traffic regulation enforcement among new recruits. After weeks of classroom instruction, the trainees finally stepped into the field to apply their knowledge in live traffic situations.
Among the notable moments captured during the exercise was that of a trainee constable helping an elderly woman cross the road safely—an image that resonated with the public and highlighted the humane side of policing.
