Lucknow: Nursing students at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, located in Sushant Golf City, Lucknow, have begun an indefinite hunger strike outside the university gates today, Friday.
Their primary demand is for all examinations up to the sixth semester to be conducted before the seventh semester begins. They also insist that if a student is unable to take a back paper exam, they should still be permitted to appear for the seventh-semester examination.
The protesting students chanted slogans against the university administration, stating that peaceful protest is their only remaining option when their concerns are not addressed. They emphasized that they would not tolerate the "insult to education" and would continue their strike until justice is served.
