Troubling seems to be mounting for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Yash Dayal who once again finds himself in the centre of major controversy. According to India Today report, an FIR has been registered against him at the Sanganer police station in Jaipur, with the victim accusing the cricketer of repeatedly raping her over two years while emotionally blackmailing her and luring her with promises of a cricketing career.

According to the report, the victim first came into contact with Dayal when she was a minor, just 17 years old, during an IPL match in Jaipur. Dayal allegedly invited her to a hotel in Sitapura under the guise of offering career advice, where the first sexual assault took place. Troubled by emotional blackmail and continuous exploitation, the victim lodged a case on July 23.

Before the latest setback, a girl from Ghaziabad, UP had also accused Dyal of raping her on the pretext of marriage. Dayal was booked under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) after a woman from Ghaziabad accused him of sexual harassment and exploitation.

She stated that Dayal introduced her to his family and acted as though they were married, which deepened her trust. However, when she questioned his intentions, he allegedly became violent and continued to harass her.

In response, Dayal filed a written complaint via his lawyer at a police station in Prayagraj. In his statement, Dayal claimed that the woman, who had lodged an FIR in Ghaziabad, was attempting to blackmail him.

According to NDTV report, the pacer claimed that she borrowed lakhs of rupees for medical treatments and personal expenses with promises to repay him, which she failed to honor.

He also alleged that she frequently requested funds for shopping and other needs. Later on Yash got relief from the Allahabad High Cour as he received an interim relief from arrest.
