According to the Defence Ministry, Pakistan, rattled by India's retaliatory action, has increased unprovoked shelling near the Line of Control using mortars and cannons in Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar and Rajouri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir on the Line of Control and the International Border. After the attack by Pakistan in the evening, the IPL match being held in Dharamsala was stopped for security reasons.
The special thing is that like on Wednesday night, on Thursday also the Indian Army targeted Pakistani installations while staying within its borders. Earlier on Wednesday-Thursday night, Pakistan made unsuccessful attempts to attack military installations with missiles and drones in 15 cities of the border areas from Jammu-Kashmir and Punjab to Gujarat.
