Chef Deva Kumar is recognised for shaping distinctive culinary identities and leading the evolution of dining experiences across luxury hotels. He has successfully repositioned restaurants, introduced thoughtfully crafted menus, and led concepts that reflect a strong sense of place. An alumnus of Madras Institute of Hotel Management and City & Guilds London His journey has been marked by industry accolades such as the Times Food Awards and features in The Hindu and Economic Times.
In his new role, Chef Deva will oversee all culinary operations across Taj Bangalore’s signature restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining, with a mission to elevate the guest experience through innovation, consistency, and authenticity.
