Tottenham Hotspur manager insisted he is unbothered by criticism amid recent struggles on the pitch. The Australian saw his team fall to another defeat in the on Thursday, leaving Spurs closer to the relegation places than the spots.

"No, I am fine. I don’t get affected by that. I will continue fighting my whole career," Postecoglou told reporters on Friday morning.
"People want me to say something that will change the mood of the fans but I have never done that. My job is the performance of the team. I get that they are frustrated and angry. But at the same time, I understand the criticism towards me, but if anyone looked at the players and said they aren’t trying - then I am sorry they are not watching the right game."

He also described the Chelsea loss as a "tough game". "[I] felt we worked really hard to stay in the game," he added.. "Disappointed with goal we conceded, had chance to deal with better then we did. We scored, got disallowed and had a couple of good chances towards the end."

"That's why the game is going the way it is," the manager said. "I guess people like you will continue to be happy, sitting on your couches, waiting six minutes for clear and obvious stuff. I don't agree with it, but that's fine."
He addressed the subject again on Friday, saying: "I'm talking about VAR. As human beings we are so accepting of everything these days and I don't get it.
"VAR here a long time, taking six minutes and from day-to-day don't know whether someone will intervene or not. It seems everyone ok with that and that's where disconnect is for me."
He was asked again about that VAR drama ahead of Spurs' return to action. Next up is a Premier League match against bottom-of-the-table on Sunday, while Postecoglou's team are also still in the and have a huge quarter-final against Eintracht Frankfurt on the horizon.
Speaking to reporters ahead of his team's next league game against Southampton, Postecoglou was asked about protests from supporters. "I can't control that," he said.
"As I said before, I would like to think irrespective of people's feelings right now I don't think there will be a supporter out there who doesn't want to win the Europa League. The home game in the Europa League is going to be important. We had someone at the Frankfurt game last week and they said the atmosphere was really loud."
