A teenager was pounced on and arrested outside a major Premier League stadium in London when cops feared he could have been carrying a gun after a football match this afternoon.
Metropolitan Police confirmed a 16-year-old boy was searched outside Stamford Bridge stadium as Chelsea was ending their match against Fulham in West London. The teen was jumped on by police and pinned to the floor in Fulham Broadway as they restrained him and searched him when they thought he was carrying a weapon.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Officers received information about a boy displaying a weapon and walking towards a crowded area."

The 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and remains in custody. Cops later said the teen was believed to have been going to a comic convention in London.
Police added that no body was injured in the incident and he was not carrying a real weapon, but added that it is an offence to carry an imitation firearm.
Cops said the imitation firearm looked real, was on display, and caused distress to people walking by after the end of the match this afternoon.
Dramatic footage of the arrest showed the moment cops wrestled the teen to the floor as several cops pinned him to the ground and restrained him.

Other officers formed a cordon around the teen as horrified onlookers and football fans streaming out of the stadium looked on.
Another groups of cops were seen looking through the teenager's bag and seeing what else he had on him.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "A 16-year-old boy remains in police custody after he was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm.
"The arrest occurred in Fulham Broadway at 14:41hrs on Saturday, 30 August after officers received information about a boy displaying a weapon and walking towards a crowded area. No one was injured in the incident."
