JoJo Siwa says Chris Hughes is 'more than a friend' as she's grilled on friendship

has opened up about her close relationship with Chris Hughes as she left the house in third place.

In her exit interview, JoJo told hosts and she "absolutely loved and adored Chris" and that he would be in her life forever now. "I'm so incredibly grateful for him. He's helped me get through my hard times in the house but more importantly he's helped me create my happiness in this house. He's more than a friend, he's just such a special guy, I'm so lucky. We had a lot of fun."

Asked by AJ what was next for the pair, JoJo told the crowd that the pair would be playing tennis on Sunday.

Since being in the house,. “It’s something that I’m not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about but it has to do with gender and how do I feel," JoJo revealed in the Diary Room with Chris.

"Let’s put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females and love them but don’t feel like I’m them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.

“I’ve met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary and these beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like. It’s not something that I want to say about myself yet but it’s something that is confusing. So, that’s probably why we were talking about it last night.”

More recently, the star revealed that she as she opened up to Drag Race star Danny Beard. JoJo told Danny: "I feel so queer. I've never - I think I've always told myself, I'm a lesbian. I think you - I think being here - I've realised I am not a lesbian, I’m queer."
