Manchester United star Amadleft fans delighted after turning up to the first day of training wearing a multi-coloured Glastonbury T-shirt.

The winger has become a fan-favourite at Old Trafford after lifting the struggling side with some excellent individual performances last season and he appeared in good spirits as he returned to Carrington on Monday for the start of pre-season.

Amad was seen entering the training facility wearing the eye-catching football-style T-shirt with neon pink, green, blue, red and yellow zig-zag streaks running through it.

At the top of the shirt was three white stripes running across the shoulders, a V-neck white collar, an Adidas logo and a Glastonbury icon at the top left.

He was also wearing black sunglasses and holding a black duffel bag and he entered the building wearing denim short and green trainers.

His shirt number 16 was also printed on the back of the shirt, which has been inspired by the music festival's pyramid stage and colourful tower alongside it. It's known as the Adidas Originals x Festival shirt and was available to purchase for £80, but the jersey sold out before Glastonbury even started on June 25.

Amad's choice of T-shirt went down well on social media as one wrote: "Amad with the Glastonbury T-shirt on, my man!"

Another wrote: "Love the Adidas top, it's mint," as a third said: "Welcome back star boy," and added: "Amad's a Glastonbury guy? Give him another new contract."

Amad was one of United's first names on the teamsheet last season in as he scored 11 goals and assisted eight in all competitions in his breakthrough year under Ruben Amorim.

He suffered a devastating injury that disrupted the end of his season, though he did return for the final seven games as he inspired the team on their journey to the Europa League final, which they lost 1-0 to Tottenham.

Amad was one of many familiar faces spotted back at Carrington, along with the likes of Joshua Zirkzee, Mason Mount, Matthjis de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.

United, who have added one big signing in Matheus Cunha, are gearing up for a massive season under Amorim as they look to turn their fortunes around following a disastrous season that saw them finish 15th, with 18 defeats.
