The Andres attended for what is set to be the last-ever Mission Impossible film, with 'The Final Reckoning' rolling out across UK cinemas on May 23. The blockbuster has been beset by lengthy, costly, delays.
Yet the film, which the Mail reports cost nearly $400 million to make, has also been met with widespread praise. Critics have described the action flick as "astonishing," with one reviewer describing it as the "action film of the summer."
Many have highly praised 62-year-old Tom Cruise's typically high-intensity performance, which translates well in the expansive IMAX format, giving the star more space on screen to show off the film series' usual insane stunts and action scenes.
Cruise is renowned for pulling off his own high-octane stunts in the Mission Impossible series, with the final instalment being no different. Despite being in his 60s, in one 'Final Reckoning' stunt the Hollywood star can be seen dangling from a helicopter, thousands of feet above the ground.
He then drops from the aircraft, falling backwards towards the earth.
Film critic Anthony Gagliardi heaped praise on the series' final instalment, writing: Tom Cruise defies all odds with jaw-dropping action built only for Imax.
"Every stunt, every set piece, every second is designed to blow your mind, A PULSE-POUNDING THRILL RIDE, and Cruise remains the king of spectacle."
