Sad truth behind Brooklyn Beckham's feud with his family that 'ruined David's 50th'

celebrated his last night surrounded by his loving family and A-list pals. But one family member who was notably missing was his eldest son .

Though the aspiring chef was reportedly in the UK with wife , the couple swerved his father's , as well as previous celebrations at their £10 million Cotswolds home and in France, which saw them go wine tasting at a vineyard before having dinner at David's favourite Parisian restaurant.

Brooklyn didn't even wish his father a Happy Birthday on social media, despite David's public outpour of love for his family.

In a poignant post sharing throwback photos, the football legend said they were his 'biggest accomplishment' and that wife Victoria, 51, and his four children - Brooklyn, 26, Romeo 22, Cruz, 20, and 13-year-old Harper - were 'the reason I get out of bed each day'.

There was hope Brooklyn and Nicola would join the family and celebrity pals like Gordon and Tana Ramsay, Guy Ritchie, Eva Longoria and for an intimate dinner party at the three Michelin star Core restaurant in Notting Hill last night, but they were a no-show.

Dad and it's reported things are so bad at the moment that Brooklyn – who also failed to attend mum Victoria's recent birthday celebrations or contact her on Mother's Day at the end of March - is no longer speaking to his family.

Though Brooklyn and Nicola had been invited to all David's birthday celebrations, each time he reportedly 'left his parents hanging'. Previous reports suggested there was a feud over Romeo's new girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 24, who used to date Brooklyn when they were teenagers and is an ex-girlfriend of Rocco Ritchie, whose parents are Madonna and Guy Ritchie.

But a source has claimed the feud is 'all about Nicola' and things haven't been the same between Brooklyn and his family since they got together in 2019. They told the : "This is nothing to do with Kim and is all about Nicola. All David and Victoria want is their son back – and they will be there to welcome him any time."

The source continued: "It's a terribly sad situation and it's been going on for a long time. They adore Brooklyn, their children are everything to them, but Brooklyn isn't talking to them.

"He isn't talking to the family and David and Victoria are heartbroken. It's now the end of the week and despite Brooklyn flying to London with Nicola with every intention of celebrating his dad's 50th birthday with him, he hasn't taken part in any of it.

"Weeks ago Brooklyn told them he would be there and they were expecting Nicola. Now David and Victoria have no idea what is going on. The French trip was to be the really special family time away but they didn't go. Then, after days of leaving his parents on tenterhooks, he and Nicola didn't go to Core either."

A pal of the former star said David is 'the most kind, loyal and dedicated father who would do anything for Brooklyn', so for this to happen on such a special birthday is 'devastating'.
