A small seaside village has been for its unique vibe and stunning vistas.
is a picturesque village that is known for its beautiful surroundings as well as its unique atmosphere and long history. The village, built into wooded sea cliffs, in north Devon sits hundreds of feet above the harbour.
Despite having a population of only a few hundred, the gorgeous village is steeped with breath-taking architecture, including terraced buildings, cobbled streets and harbour. Fortunately, people wanting to spend more than a day out in the village can choose to make use of one of its two hotels with tourists being warmly welcomed unlike some more popular destinations such as Spain's Canary Islands.

Clovelly's charm has not been lost on social media influencers who have flocked to the seaside village in droves. TikToker storky_adventures clip of Clovelly went viral, asking viewers: "Is this the prettiest village in the UK?"
Showing site from inside the village, the influencer could be seen walking along cobbled roads and taking in the sights of the village. She said in a comment shared alongside the clip: "I had a solo trip to this quaint and dreamy little place with the most picturesque scenery.
"It was like stepping back in time with no cars allowed and had a kinda feel to it with the cobbled streets, bright white houses, hanging flower baskets over looking a turquoise ocean...and the donkeys. Views were stunning and so was the cream tea.

"It's on a steep clip so be prepared for a bit of a walk and don't be like me and wear flip flops, which also broke so that was interesting on steep cobbled paths."
Since being uploaded to her TikTok page, the clip has attracted an estimated 493,400 views and more than 11,400 likes. Many people who viewed the clip shared their thoughts about one of England's most idyllic places.
"I've been there lots of times," said TikTok user Marky Edwards. "Beautiful Clovelly." While Royc1966 added: "Great place, if you don't mind the walk up and down some hill."
Florence posted: "literally looks like a different country." User Paul commented: "Fished there many times. Special place."
While visitors might think entering the village is as easy as finding a parking spot relatively nearby, there are some things to consider before making your way to north Devon. All visitors to the village will need to pay a fee before entering as it is heavily reliant on the fees to pay for maintenance and the upkeep that comes with the village's unique location perched on a 400ft cliff.
