Meghan Markle has revealed one of the birthday gifts she bought for Prince Harry on his 40th birthday last year. Speaking in the seventh episode of the second series of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the 44-year-old reveals that she gifted Harry a blue baseball cap for his birthday, which has 'PH40' on it.
As well as the '40' for his age, the 'PH' stands for Prince Harry. The gift comes a surprise as the couple stepped down as senior working royals back in 2020, with Meghan typically simply referring to her husband as 'H' most of the time.
Packing a bag to go on a day trip to Florida with her friend Heather Dorak, Meghan spent four minutes packing a bag of "things that bring me joy" for her visit.
As well as sharing that she takes family photographs on trips, she also packed the baseball cap that she gifted to Harry.
The former actress proudly held up the cap so that viewers could see the embroidery on the front. Meghan also placed fabric softener towels between her clothes in luggage.
Speaking to Heather, Meghan discussed how she has felt since entering her 40s back in August 2021. She said: "It's really awesome to be in your 40s. We just settled into a different... era."
The couple announced their plans to step back from royal duties via an Instagram post back in January 2020 - less than two years after they tied the knot in Windsor.

The couple soon moved to the US, where they eventually settled in California with their son Archie, now aged six.
The pair later welcomed their daughter Lilibet in 2021, with both of her children seen amongst the photographs she held in a wallet that she said she takes on trips.
The subtle reference to their former royal life comes just months after Meghan corrected her friend Mindy Kaling in the first series. Mindy referred to Meghan as 'Meghan Markle', to which she replied, You know I'm Sussex now."
