The dispersal order covering the Epping Forest and Harlow districts will be introduced from 6pm this evening, May 31, until 6pm Sunday, June 1.

It follows concerns raised over a potential large-scale unauthorised car meet, after recent events in the area which results in vehicles driving at excessive speeds and carrying out dangerous manoeuvres. This order gives officers the powers to direct people suspected of being involved in this activity to leave the area or face arrest, and not return to the area for 48 hours.
Officers issued a warning to non law-abiding road users that they will be policing key locations across both districts.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Officers policing our county's roads work every day to ensure the safety of the public.
"This order gives officers the powers to direct people suspected of being involved in this activity to leave the area or face arrest, and not return to the area for 48 hours.
"The order will have no impact on law-abiding road users and members of the public.
"Officers are out in key locations across both districts to enforce the order and keep the public safe.
"We won't tolerate dangerous driving which puts lives at risk."
Epping is conveniently located at the end of the Central line, with easy access to places such as Stratford, Liverpool Street, Bank, Oxford Circus and Shepherd's Bush.
Situated in the southwest of , about 17 miles northeast of London, Epping was last year rated as the second-best commuter town, scoring highly on its amount of green space, according to Kubie Gold.
With a population of just 12,000 poeple the market town of Epping is a desireable place to live in Essex.
