A seasoned global traveller has named one country as being "too perfect", adding that it will "ruin every other country for you" and there's one reason why. After visiting this country, nowhere else will come close, according to a YouTuber who shared his experience and enthusiasm for the place while he was there.
Now, you may be thinking of hot climates and golden sand, but no, that's not what this destination has to offer. Once you know this place exists, the traveller said, going anywhere else in the world will not come close. The YouTuber walked along the "beautiful" country, filming the scenes as he described the feeling of the place, and it does look spectacular, unspoilt and just stunning.
"How can anywhere compete with this on any scale?" YouTuber Harry Jarrad Travel asks, introducing Switzerland in selfie film mode on his channel.
The sky is crisp blue, and even in the video, the air looks fresh and clean. The grass is lucid green, and on the horizon, mountains tower-this country has over 40 mountain ranges.
: "If you are trying to go to every country, you shouldn't do Switzerland first, maybe leave it till the end. Every other travel experience you have will be ruined, because this place is just too perfect."
In the comments, a follower agrees, although they added two more magical destinations, writing: "Switzerland, Norway and Iceland are the most stunningly beautiful places, just like a fairytale land."
Exploring Switzerland is possible by taking the Bernina Express, a luxury train that allows you to enjoy the views of the Swiss mountains, with over four hours of gorgeous scenery to enjoy, but this can be expensive.
The Grand Train Tour of Switzerland will take you to all corners of this idyllic country - and this is a popular Christmas trip for many, expect to see waterfalls and turquoise glacial lakes on route to and from Zurich.
On route to Montreux from Interlaken, look out for views through the hills of tremendous castles and grazing livestock - and a sparkling glacier can be seen from another thread of the journey.
One drawback when visiting this stunning country is that it's considered to be one of the most expensive countries in Europe for tourists and those who live there, however some travellers manage to visit on a budget.
Other travellers suggest visiting out of season which means summer and winter should be avoided, you can save money by staying in hostels, going for self catering - and booking up your trip in advance.
You can book train journeys via general operators and save a lot of money on a five hour trip across the country, especially if you visit when it's not peak tourist season, but however you travel Switzerland, you're sure to fall in love with the stunning place.
