Broadcaster Mark Dolan appears thrilled to be back on TalkTV - having directly addressed viewers about returning to the channel after his controversial GB News departure. Dolan, who rejoined the channel on Monday night (August 18) told fans it was a "privilege to come back" and even took a savage two-word swipe at Prime Minister Keir Starmer during his minute-long monologue.
He began: "It's a privilege to come back... It's been a really interesting journey, and I'm just so happy to have a platform where I'm free to say what I think." The star added: "I've missed commentating on current affairs over the last few months, I've got to say. The Mark Dolan Show on YouTube is very fun - we do royal gossip and we call out the elites.
"But I have really missed being able to say what is happening to this country." In a savage swipe, he said: "The terrible leadership in my humble opinion of Sir Keir Starmer...
"It's been a year-what's happened? Government borrowing costs have risen, inflation has risen, unemployment has risen, jobs have disappeared, and sixteen thousand millionaires are expected to leave the country this year. The left doesn't seem to understand that we will have to foot the bill for the tax that they were previously paying.
"So I really feel that coming to talk to this incredible brand is a great privilege."
In December, Dolan announced his self-titled show would air on YouTube, but seven months later, he shared that he would return to screens on GB News' rival programme, TalkTV.
Reacting to his return, someone said on X: "I'm happy for him! And happy for @TalkTV." Another said: "Well done, Dolan! Best of luck, I'm sure you'll smash it." A third wrote: "Good to see you back mark."
TalkTV is available to watch on YouTube and Sky.
