Hyderabad: Four individuals were arrested in Langar Houz on Tuesday, May 20, for allegedly attempting to sell a fake tiger skin, falsely claiming it to be genuine and priced at Rs 50 lakh.
The accused have been identified as M Vijay Kishore, a driver from Bellampalli; Chinta Shankar from Mancherial; Mirza Willayath Ali Baig Shakir from B S Maktha; and K Bachi Reddy from ECIL.
According to reports, the accused intended to exploit potential buyers interested in using tiger skin as a decorative item. They planned to make easy money by passing off the counterfeit skin as genuine.

Based on credible information, police arrested the accused and seized the fake skin, a car, and four mobile phones, all worth Rs 3.5 lakh.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
