Hazaribag: A land dealer, who was shot at late on Sunday in Chatra, has undergone live saving operation after doctors at a private hospital in Hazaribag district, where he was rushed, managed to extract two bullets from his body.
On Sunday night, Bandhu Yadav sustained critical injuries when unidentified assailants shot him. He was admitted to the Chatra sadar hospital, from where he was referred to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) but was taken to a private hospital in Hazaribag.
Dr BN Prasad and his medical team at the private hospital successfully removed both bullets from Yadav's body.
Chatra police said investigation is underway.
