NBA star Luka Dončić recently garnered attention due to his high-profile transfer from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers. And now fans can own a memorabilia once worn by him. SCP Auctions is presenting a unique collectible up for auction -- a game-worn Lakers jersey from Luka Dončić’s second game with the team, which took place on February 12 against the Utah Jazz.

What's so special about Luka Dončić's jersey that's on auction?
Interestingly, Luka Dončić's journey is notable as the 26-year-old’s first road appearance with the Lakers, during which he scored 16 points, collected 4 rebounds, and recorded 4 assists, even though the team suffered a loss. As per reports, the jersey is currently up for grabs at the SCP auction. The auction is still active, with the current bid at $60,000, but SCP estimates that the final selling price may surpass $100,000. Bidding is set to close on Saturday at 7:30 PM Pacific Time.

Luka Dončić transitioned to Los Angeles on February 2, 2025, as part of a trade deal involving the Mavericks and the Lakers. Before this move, he played seven years for Dallas after joining the team from Real Madrid in 2018. The LA Lakers faced a tough defeat against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. The Crypto.com Arena hosted an all-star matchup, featuring some of the biggest names in basketball going head-to-head.

Fans expected Luka Dončić to shine but he had a subpar performance by his usual standards. Despite scoring 19 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and providing 7 assists, the Slovenian star appeared to struggle and acknowledged after the game that the loss was largely his fault.
