Harrowing moment of an aircraft crashing nose-first onto a highway in northern Italy on Tuesday was caught on camera.
The video shows an Italian Freccia RG aircraft doing swoops in the sky before diving steeply, hitting the road, and exploding into a massive fireball.
The accident took place on a freeway in Brescia, which claimed the lives of two on board the plane. Among the killed was the 75-year-old pilot Sergio Ravaglia, from Milan, and his passenger, 60-year-old Ann Maria De Stefano, according to Italian news outlet Giornale di Brescia.
First responders rushed to the crash site to contain flames, but the aircraft had been completely engulfed in the crash, leaving only wreckage.
