PRAYAGRAJ — The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPMSP) has officially confirmed that results for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2025 will be released on April 25 (Friday) at 12:30 PM. This year marks a significant development in the board’s result distribution — for the first time, results will be made available directly on DigiLocker, alongside the official UPMSP portal.

This move will provide faster, more secure digital access to marksheets and certificates for over 54 lakh students who appeared for the 2025 board exams, reinforcing a major digital shift in India’s educational record management system.

Following the announcement, digital marksheets will be accessible in each student’s DigiLocker account. Students must log in using valid credentials (such as Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers or DigiLocker IDs).

Historic Evaluation Effort Across the State

The Class 10 and 12 exams were held from February 24 to March 12, 2025, across Uttar Pradesh. The board deployed a record 1,34,723 examiners to assess nearly 3 crore answer sheets at 261 evaluation centers.

  • 84,122 examiners

  • 8,473 deputy chief examiners

• Intermediate Evaluation:

  • 1,33,71,607 copies

  • 50,601 examiners

  • 5,471 deputy chief examiners

The evaluation process concluded by April 2, with officials following a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued to District Inspectors of Schools and school principals, further streamlining exam conduct and result preparation.

The total number of candidates for the 2025 board exams was:

• Class 10 (High School): 27,32,216 students

• Class 12 (Intermediate): 27,05,017 students

• Total Examinees: 54,37,233 students

This makes the UP Board the largest school examination board in the world by number of examinees.
